George is an experienced and innovative property economist, researcher, adviser and strategist. He has significant expertise in analysing and advising on property markets across Australia for government, private developer, corporate and institutional clients.

 

George joined Oliver Hume in 2015 and is the National Head of Research. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Oliver Hume’s in-house research function including data collection systems and providing dedicated, specialised and strategic property market, demographic and economic research, analysis and advisory services for both internal and external stakeholders.

 

George plays a critical role in helping Oliver Hume’s Board, senior management and clients understand the events, trends and themes that drive the residential property market. By providing stakeholders with data-driven insights and forecasts they can make better decisions for their business across a range of aspects including pricing, product development and marketing strategy.

 

As part of Oliver Hume’s strategy to provide clients with market-leading insights he provides a wide range of commercial and strategic advisory services to clients. He also continues to lead the development of Oliver Hume’s diverse range of proprietary and other research databases and technology applications.

 

George holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts specialising in economics, finance and political science. Prior to joining Oliver Hume, George was Research Director at m3property where he was responsible for property market research across a range of property market segments. In addition to research, he also undertook specialised asset advisory and commissioned research tailored to individual client requirements.
